Stephen Colbert Speaks to Big Brother Date: 05.06.06
Brock_IMGPosted By: Ryan
I don't know if you've seen Stephen Colberts show The Colbert Report, but if you're haven't... You're not getting the TRUTH. Last weekend Stephen Colbert got a chance to speak with like minded individuals at the White House Correspondents Association annual dinner. In attendance were the President (Sitting within face punching range), many other government officials including Rev. Jesse Jackson and Senetor Mc Cain, also in attendance was the liberal bias media, except fox of course, we know who you are!

During this long speech Stephen levels with the President and shows that they aren't so different, they both think from the gut. He also praises the media for not getting us the truth even when America desperately needed it most.

Here are multiple ways to view it definitely worth the watch just for the crowds reaction alone:

Brock_IMGPosted By: Ryan
OMG Weed Harmless 3?!:
Well it took me long enough to release this right? Here it is though, I hope people enjoy it as much as I did making it. It's 11 shorts, (and a cooking guide!), that parody the war on drugs, anti-marijuana commercials and much more. I'd talk more about it here, but there's plenty of text to read and video to watch inside.

Watch: Weed Harmless 3

If you have a slower connection you can view each video seperately here for now until I make an area in the flash section.

Watch: Weed Harmless 3: For slow connections

What's next you lazy bum:
In the next few days I'm going to be opening up WeedHarmless.com, (suprised no one registered that one), where I will be posting a lot more, mostly things related to marijuana.

I'm also going to be changing the forum once again, hopefully for the last time but I always say that. WeedHarmless.com and WhatTheFawk.com are going to use the same forum just different sections. I'll post a few days in advance so no one will lose posts.

I've also been working on a few other videos and projects for the site including a game based on Another Regular Day. So look for more information in the coming days.

Police unable to do basic arithmetic? Date: 06.22.05
Brock_IMGPosted By: Ryan
The Story:
Everyone remembers that Medical Marijuana patient/activist that got arrested about a week ago right, Pierre Werner, 33, well he was released after prosecutors failed to file a criminal complaint. So at least he won't have any problems getting his medication now. Anyway here's the good stuff, Metro Police reported Thursday that the street value of the marijuana this guy had was around $750,000 and I'm about to show you why it's very likely that someone just made that number up, maybe as a joke. Because putting someone's life in jeopardy is hilarious...

The Math:
Pierre Werner was arrested June 15th, Metro officers have said that Werner was found in possession of 121 marijuana plants and 10 pounds of finished marijuana. Ok, well I don't know the price by pound, but I do know the price by ounce. So we're going to cut the sellable marijuana down into ounces, 16 ounces in a pound right? Of course there is, I Googled it! So 16oz x 10 = 160oz, wow that was so hard. Now an average ounce cost on average around $200 - $300, but im going to give Metro the benefit of the doubt, big time, and we're going to pretend an ounce costs $500. So 160oz x $500 = $80,000. Hmm yeah that's real close to $750,000. Now I know some people are saying what about the plants, he had 121 plants too! Well once again I will give metro the benefit of the doubt and say that ALL these plants were mature and harvestable, even though I'm sure they weren't. The average yield from a plant, according to the DEA "Mean average yield per plant (11.25 square foot density): 4 oz" Ok so 4oz times 121 plants is 484oz of smokeable goodness. Now here comes the fun part, 484oz times $500 (huge benefit of the doubt again) comes out to $242,000, lets add that to the sellable marijuana he already had shall we. $242,000 plus $80,000 is $322,000. Now, that's just simple math something that I guess isn't required at the metro police station, it's very easy to see that the number placed in the newspaper $750,000 was umm, what's the word I'm looking for... Bullshit. Just my two cents.

The Truth:
Also to seal the deal, Pierre Werner has said how much he sells the marijuana for, 100$ an ounce to about 50 medical marijuana patients with a license. Wow hold the phone, I just realized something while typing that last sentence. In total Werner had 644oz of marijuana, IF it ALL was harvestable. 644oz divided by 50 people comes out to 12.88. I did this to see if he had the legal amount per person, but your only allowed to have one ounce right, check this out though. Really you're allowed to have, "One ounce of usable, three mature plants, and four immature ones." Remember how many ounces come from an average mature plant, 4oz. Four ounces times three plants is 12oz, plus one ounce is 13oz that each person is legally allowed to have and he had 12.88 per person so it turns out he had under the legal limit for each of those 50 people in his possession at the time of arrest. Damn I'm good... Well... Good at basic arithmetic at least.

Medical Marijuana Activist Arrested (Las Vegas, NV) Date: 06.16.05
Brock_IMGPosted By: Ryan
The DEA is addicted to arresting people:

Well I guess I was wrong about the Drug Enforcement Agency(DEA) going crazy and arresting people left and right. Today a local (Las Vegas, NV) Medical Marijuana Activist was arrested after authorities raided his Green Valley home, because apparently the rise in crime around Henderson and Vegas hasn't given them anything better to do.

So feel safe that there's one less sick person sitting at home... Trying to get over their sickness and help others do the same. These people are apparently the ones who corrupt Las Vegas's society, not prostitution not gambling not gangs, but people smoking a plant in their home. Unfortunatly for Pierre Werner, 34, who uses marijuana to treat his bipolar and schizophrenia disorders it is unlikely that they will allow him to smoke marijuana in jail to ease his pain. His attorney Ryan Mortier says "The last time he was taken into custody he was hospitalized."

Any sane person knows what's about to happen, here's what I find funny though. The first time he was arrested the neighbors had called 911 because he was standing outside holding a marijuana plant... What... The Fawk.. Now, I'm no botanist... But, im pretty sure marijuana plants don't shoot bullets or posion gas or anything at all actually, so exactly what was the danger here? I guess they thought, from all the commercials of their day, that if he smoked the marijuana he would turn into a crazed bipolar schizophrenic maniac; funny how life works out isn't it?

Lets let the DEA explain:

Rogene Waite, who is a spokeswoman for the DEA had this to say, lets see if it changes your mind about the current situation. "We don't go after the sick and dying. We go after the large-scale organizations, traffickers and distributors." Not only does this statement completely contradict what is happening, but Angel Raich will likely die if she doesn't smoke marijuana throughout the day, and Pierre is, well... Sick... On to the second sentance, "We go after the large-scale organizations, traffickers and distributors." Oh really? Because when you first arrested Pierre he only had two ounces of actual sellable marijuana in his posession (the rest were plants) that's not much at all, especially for a man with a medical licence to posses marijuana.

Don't worry though she keeps talking, "People should not be breaking the law. There's always a possibility they could come under the radar." said Rogene Waite. Well I say, the law should not be breaking people. The law is, for the laziness of me finding a better word, stupid; that's why we are able to change laws. The constitution was written on hemp paper for christs' sake, get with the program folks. When you arrest people who use marijuana for medical purposes, cause them pain and in some cases even death, then trust me, the law is causing them more harm than any marijuana plant ever will.

Also, I'm sorry for ranting so much lately, just exercising my right to free speech while it still exists. Wink

All quotes are from the Las Vegas Sun.

Medical Marijuana in the news. Date: 06.07.05
Brock_IMGPosted By: Ryan
Medical Marijuana:

Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that state laws won't protect medical marijuana users from a federal ban on the substance. Some people might be ok with that, maybe you think medical marijuana doesn't really help anyone, but ill get to that later. I just think it's ironic that the Federal Government is constantly advocating a states right to chose, then they come in completely ignore the states laws which the people have chosen and say "We know you all voted in favor of medical marijuana, but frankly... You people just don't know what's good for you and we do. Now here, just take 50 Vicodin a day and you'll be back to a vegetable in no time". Besides this being about medical marijuana I'd be more worried about the Federal Government overstepping their boundaries and ignoring their own 'values'.

"Today's decision marks the end of medical marijuana as a political issue", said Drug Czar John Walters. Now I know John Walters must have access to every drug on the market, so I'm not even going to ask what could have possibly made him make such a delusional statement. He goes on to say "Our national medical system relies on proven scientific research, not popular opinion". Well Vioxx was a popular drug, which doctors seemed to have a high opinion of and it was on the market. So it must have been proven by the governments science and research to be safe, right? Yeah... Guess how that one turned out.

Contratiction Addiction:

Oh he's not done yet Walters continues by stating, "To date, science and research have not determined that smoking a crude plant is safe or effective." Now that's just setting yourself up right there, I really don't think most politicians know what they've said, usually because they don't write what they say. So I'm just wondering, if John Walters thinks marijuana is such a crude plant, why is it that not to long ago he stated that today's users, "confront pot that's up to 30 times stronger than what aging baby boomers smoked." or that the "today's marijuana is 10 to 14 percent THC. And hybrids go up to 30 percent and above." and that "The point is that the potency of available marijuana has not merely 'doubled,' but increased as much as 30 times."

Dear John Walters/ John Walters Un-edjoou-ma-cated Writers: How is it that such a 'crude' plant is advancing so quickly in terms of quality, quantity and potency? Why are you trying to arrest people that have conditions that cause them severe pain, do weak muscled people scare you? Some of these people can't even function without the aid of medical marijuana and they, the people who are in pain constantly throughout their day, are the ones telling you this. The fact that they're telling you this without grimacing in pain should have given you a clue as to the drugs effectiveness. I mean lets say for instance you arrested Angel Raich who fought the supreme court on the medical marijuana issue, she would die in your custody without the aid of medical marijuana, she CAN'T stop smoking it. Same with the people the Federal Government has been sending medical marijuana to each month for the last few years; in a program which the governments science and research determined that smoking a 'crude' plant IS safe and very effective, completely contradicting Walters' first inane statement.

So before you start spouting lies out of every orifice of your body, you should check your facts. Try www.google.com it's open to everyone, even morons.

Situation In Our Nation:

Really I don't think they're going to go crazy arresting and prosecuting medical marijuana patients, they already do that. It's just upsetting that they can so quickly get away with overriding laws which citizens have agreed on and created for their state. I mean with a war and all this other crap, the one thing people seemed to agree on was that someone in severe pain should be able to smoke medical marijuana if they feel it helps them. People should be able to choose their medicine, how simple is that? Now they want to come in and trash the one thing that's keeping people together, not to mention they got away with this by using false information, anyone else noticing a trend here?

If you agree the medical marijuana law recently passed by the senate is unfair, then quit your whining and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Click "Take Action Now" at that link and you can easily e-mail your representative.

Don't think the American people support this issue? Take a look at this poll. .

They mentioned this on the Daily Show last night also.

If you're still having trouble with this, I've included a simple diagram below that even John Walters could understand, ok maybe not.
